Life is great :] Wake up early in the morning to feed my dogs and unlock the house. Play maple and surf internet all the way till late in the afternoon xD Before going to play basketball with my mum. My mum was the best basketballer in her college by the way :D but apparently, I am not like her :(

Today is another great day :D

Went back to school to perform MEL again as the teacher wanted to record our play. We had 2 specials guests today, Yi Ai =) and Daphne, they were watching the performance with the teacher too. The 4 of us including Louis planned to go and watch movie today :D

We took extra long time to finish filming as most of us have forgotten our lines and because of that, we did not make it in time for the movie at 11.20 am T.T

Slacked in school awhile before going to Louis's house. Leave some stuffs there and played a little bit of maple before going to play Basketball. Unfortunately because the weather was too hot, we only played for less than 10 minutes.

Took bus to TM after Bball, and we followed Louis to have his lunch at Long John Silver. Went to Toy R Us right after because Louis wanted to get his new Maths Blaster Gun! xD

We watched "My Sister's Keeper" :D A nice movie, with good story line and good ending ;]

After the movie, Louis and I had nothing to do so we followed Yi Ai and Daphne to many places.

Louis took taxi home, Daphne took MRT home, Yi Ai took bus home while I walked home haha. All different kinds of transportations.

Today, I had to go back for an MEL performance replay for my MEL teacher to film it. Wasted my sleeping time. Phee had to wear a skirt like whuud? Then phee austine yi ai her friend and I went to play basketball. Following that, Phee, yi ai, her friend and i went to watch the movie My Sister's Keeper. It is about a donor child who donated her body parts to her cancer sister but the sister chose to die in the end. Sad story of love. :(

Recently fished this up from the city's gaming centre (arcade). This is the first time in my life to fish something up from the 'thing' successfully, IN ONE TRY! YAY! Its a shit hammer, and its pretty big. It makes a sound when it hit something too!

Personal life story coming up:

Its noon here in sydney and weather is changing. Came home after a short day at school and was perspiring, not that much but so much so that if you are wearing a pair of long pants, you just got to take it of and wear a short one. Quickly switch on the fan, sit down in front of the computer and began surfing the net

As I sit down, with the fan oscillating at speed 3, quietly on my own, I suddenly felt the nostalgic feel of Singapore again. In Singapore, I always sit in front of the computer with the fan oscillating, humming the soothing sound, and ever since I came to sydney 6 months ago I have never heard of that same sound again cos the weather is cool. Now its spring-summer, and its all coming back to me.

Recently watched an old Japanese drama where a 27 year old yakuza-boss-to-be needs to go to school to actually become the next yakuza boss. The story shows how meaningful and enjoyable secondary school and high school life is, and if you don't enjoy it now, you will regret it forever. After finishing the drama, I look at myself and thought how I regret not really living my life to the fullest then. At that time, I had my fair share of fun, but my introvert self then always like to stay at home and never go out to see the rest of Singapore. Now Im going to be in the University soon and that means that the childish-fun part of my life is coming to an end. No more playing MMORPGs with your friend, no more class outings, no more acting stupid. sHITE......

I finally realise how dumb studying-a-lot-when-you-are-still-in-secondary-school is, and I only got one thing to say: don't stay at home, go out, learn new interesting things like boxing or some musical instrument. Always find opportunities to work, play with friends and acquire new skills. That's all, I know this whole post is kind of dumb, but yea, c u

Post Examination's Life :D

Life after EOY is great, I guess.

There is no need to carry my super heavy bag to school everyday single day, and there is no longer any lessons in school :]

Oh and by the way, I had soccer training yesterday. Was kind of boring and my performance sucks as I have stopped playing soccer almost a year ago. At almost the end of the training, we had a match with netball girls O.o We played netball with the netball girls and I was one of the first seven who are chosen to play.

Got pawned by the girls T.T Such a disgrace.....

Went to Louis's after training, planning to go Thai embassy to renew passport. Ended up going lan instead.

Today we had survey in the morning and during recess, Emmanuel had a chinese chess match with Mr Lim. To our amazement, Mr Lim played like a professional player and pawned Emmanuel :D Nice one!

After recess, went to AVT room for some talk on Mental health? And Dunman got talents show in the indoor sport hall in the afternoon.

For some reason, all the pupils kept looking behind which of course made other pupils look behind too. I was sitting behind Yi Ai and we decided to act as if were looking behind and looking up so the people will follow xD Unfortunately no pupil was tricked, in the making of this scam.....Haiz

Went straight home after school, and took afternoon nap :] Have never been able to do that since before EOY

Cultural Fushion Day :D

Today was another great day :D

Went school strangely early today for some reason.

Reached school, slacked at a table and took photos of the class before doing the last few touch-ups.

Many unexpected things happened today.

First of all, the marks of 4 of my subjects are wrong O.O This caused me to lose a total of 70 marks T.T And as the assistance manager of the class, I have to take care of the restaurant and went around to see respective teachers for changing of marks at the same time. (Thought it was gonna be a slack day)

Our class did not plan for any performance and if I am not wrong, Mrs Neo was asking for one. With less than 10 minutes left, we had to plan a performance for the teachers. Had no other choice and ended up performing magic tricks again ( we performed this on care and share day too ).

Turned out to be better than we expected :D

Tea Ceromony/Wedding Dinner

Oi readers, today I just got back my exam results for Chinese, Science, English and Geography. Sad to say i only got an A1 for Geography, 2 B3 for Science and Chinese and a B4 for English.. :(
If you are asking about Phee's result again, do not bother. He did badly. Not sure if he can go 2A class like me next year.

I was tired the whole day for some reason haiz......

Maybe I didn't get enough sleep the night before? I am not sure, all I know is pig has 2 legs while we humans study geography

Arghh....I don't understand why Songlin always has to watch horror movies. All these movies are created to frighten people away, not to make more people watch them. He seems to be enjoying it so much. Songlin is watching Zuon 2 by the way T.T The other day I watched horror movies with Yi Ai and Emmanuel too. It was the first time I did not have nightmare after watching such movie, strange O.o Maybe its more of disgusting than scary.

Talking about horror movies, Louis scammed 70 m mesos in maple today. Scamming was once Louis's way of survival but now it is more of hobbies than doing to survive xD

Went to his house again today with Austine. Had a wonderful lunch there. Slack there for a REALLY long time, watching the pro scam. Went to play some card game inside his room, we created a new card game which requires us to put down a card everytime we talk. Sound pretty lame but turn out to be more fun than expected, haha.

Louis got a sudden urge to take pictures of himself, and this is just how PRETTY he was.....

Exams nearing

While Phee and Loo have finished their exam, I still have to prepare for one coming up in 3 weeks. This is a major exam, and if I do badly for it, I may not be able to study what I want next year (naturally). So in any asian countries, if you have difficulties with your school work or studies, whether if you are a primary school student or a secondary school one, you can just apply for tuition and the tutors will help you right away. You can go to big tuition classes of 10 students, or one-on-one classes which not only gives you the tutor's total attention on you, but also higher cost.

But when you are in uni, you will not have such privilege anymore: there's no tuition for university students

I'm have a lot of problems right now. Even though I am studying only 5 subjects unlike my other Singaporean friends who is doing like 8 or so subjects, I find Maths, Physics and Chemistry extremely difficult. I can't turn to tutors for help since there is no such thing as tuition for university students, and I also can't get help from my teachers because they are only available at 8 to 9 in the morning, and I always wake up at 8.30!

So the other day, I was surfing through the net when I stumble upon this website called tutorvista. It provides free online math help 24 hours a day 7 days a week. What's more students can get help with maths anytime and anywhere there want. Isn't that just great! This website is also specifically targeted at year 12 or university students who are having some difficulty in maths. Hehe, now I can free algebra help from experts without paying for a single cent.

My brother also do the same for his economics course. He didn't go online to get help specifically, but he go to other university websites to download lecture notes and answers for some of his questions from the textbook. Pretty cool. The internet is such a wonderful thing, its like you can get everything you know. Yeah, That's it for today, thank you, c u

Exams No More

Here i am, once again. :)

Two days ago, our exams officially finished. So after that we had a cultural fusion thing. I am the financial dude. I'm not sure what i'm suppose to do. Maybe just write a report with the leader and eat some of the money that passes through my hands? o.O

After that, I went to my Aunt's tea ceremony. My aunt and the groom had to serve tea to the elder, I had to serve tea to them.

Then I went home to rest and at night I came for a wedding dinner.

Decoration Department In Action

Went out to plaza sing today.

Help the decoration department ( Yi Ai and Emmanuel ) to get all the things that need to be bought, Jiaying went with us too.

We went to Daiso and bought many stuffs to decorate our class.

After which, we went to buy a poster at some comic shops and went to play arcade for a little while.

Yi Ai's dad fetched us back to her house and Jiaying had to leave halfway. Left our stuffs there and went to eat KFC. Went back to Yi Ai's house again after dinner. First time going to her house O.O So many dolls haha :]

Planned to print some posters for the class....but ended up watching videos instead :p After we realised that it was already 9.00 pm, we decided to print the posters.

End of year examination has officially ended and I guess its time for me to start blogging again :]

Many things happened since my last post, too many things that I am lazy to write about them :p

I didn't know it would be so boring after exam....

You play game too much and didn't spare any time for studying until you feel sick of gaming and want to go and study again ._.

I guess thats how everybody is feeling right now, right?

Oh and by the way, I was selected as the VBB of the class for the cultural thingy. You may wonder whats VBB actually stands for, it stands for " Vice Big Boss ". Zhi Kai isBB in our class and both us took care of 2 departments each.

Have you heard of stories where a whole hotel is burned down and hundreds of people die? Or the news saying how many people die from an arson? Well, last saturday, I experience the damn thing.

It was a usual saturday night, when the sound of siren from ambulances seems to be more frequent than any other day, due to the fact that Australians like to party a lot and sometimes sHITE happens. I was doing one of my long essay assignments in my 7 story apartment when the fire alarm sounded:

Me: Man, the fire alarm again
My bro: Yea, the last time it sounded, it was a false alarm I remember
My flatmate: And its gonna take like what, 20 mins before it shuts up again
Me: sHIte

So I just continued doing my long essay when suddenly, Tump Tump Tump! Someone's knocking on our door. After analysing the situation, my bro and I had come to a conclusion that one of our neighbours must have panicked our someting, so we didn't care. So I opened the door just to check, to my surprise, it wasn't my neighbour who knocked the door, it was a fireman!

Was instructed to evacuate immediately, and we were like

My flatmate (he went through national service already): Hey, grab your keys and handphone and get the hell out of here
Me: Oh sHITe! I need to bring my laptop (was joking, partially)
My bro: We need to quickly dress up now so that we don't need to come back and can go to the cinema right away! (was not joking, seriously)

Couldn't get a close up at the firemen, since I was to scared maybe they will kick my ass or something. So the evacuation and the search took approximately 1 hour, and when everything was all clear, the firemen came to a conclusion: the fire started at the underground carpark, where some mirrors and mattresses caught fire. And I was like imagining, oh sHITe, the mirror must have focused the heat energy from the light, and then burn the mattresses or something :D

Crazy stuff happens here in Australia, and this is my first time experiencing this kind of fire alarm evacuation thing, unlike what schools in Singapore do, this is not a drill, this is real. Thats it, c u

Meo's Happiest Day of Her life!

She gave birth to 5 puppies all together, all of which are male O.O

Crazy weather in Australia

Hey guys, for some of you who follows the world news closely, you will realise that I'm about 1.5 weeks late of posting this incredible phonomenon in Sydney Australia. Introducing: The Crazy Weather in Australia

Yesterday evening at 6 pm, it was like 33 degrees celsius, but just 3 hours later it became 22 degrees celsius plus freezing cold wind blowing my bum off. Even though its spring now, and instead of having the temperature like maybe 20 degrees celsius, someday its so cold, its 15, or so hot like 33. So the weather here always fluctuates right, but thats not it:

People's republic of China's 60th birthday celebration in UNSW

Hey guys, had disappeared for a really long time, but today I'm gonna tell you guys about China's 60th birthday today!

Since there are so many Chinese students, they held UNSW's very own China's birthday celebration in one of the larger lecture halls in the campus. I bought the ticket last week for $20 just to see how the celebration's gonna be like, and here it is:

I didn't take any pictures during the show, but I can tell you one thing: the Chinese are a very patriotic group of people. Before I went to see the China's 60th birthday performance, I met up with one of my Chinese friend who watched the live celebration through the internet before coming to the thing. He was like 'Hey poom, did you watch the live celebration in China?.......' then I remembered something from the day before: another friend also asked me whether I want to watch the celebration with him in his house. I politely declined because that will be too much of a hassle to me. Okay so the conversation continues:

'Yea I watched it, and it was good. You know some of my friends in Beijing who are watching right then, they were so proud of china, they cried!'

OH SHITE! Did I miss out on one of the greatest spectacular performance just because of my laziness!? Guess I will be watching the recorded performance soon. That's all, c u

My guardian's grandchildren visited me yesterday. They were really good kids, all they did was spoiled my guitar and headphone :D

As I was talking to Yi Ai and Jiaying on msn, I told them that the kids were visiting me and they suddenly had the urge to see them xD So I put the kid on my lap so he would be tall enough for the webcam. Unfortunately, Jiaying did not have oovoo and had to leave halfway.

Set up the connections, but EI was still looking for her webcam. As it was the first time for the baby boy to use webcam, he was very excited. And.........

...........He farted =="

What makes it worse was, he was sitting on my lap T.T

So after Yi Ai got her webcam, I started shaking the boy by moving my leg up and down to imitate the movement of the horse and.........guess what? He farted again xO

As she continued to laugh uncontrollably, the boy started saying things like, " Ni zai siao, wo zai da ni ah!"

In conclusion, this boy will grow up into a quality gangster :D Imagine 2 years old already saying all these, what will he be saying when grows up O.O

Oh and by the way, he farted on me again before he left T.T 3 times in an hour.

This report is with regards to me and my friends encountering a fat gangsta while playing basketball two days ago. The gangster was fat with packs and was topless while we played basketball. Soon, me and my friends played a match of basketball with the other people of the neighbourhood. Our team was like a scoring machine as Phee stood under the ring and scored alot of points for the team.

The gangster was not happy about that and decided to join in. He kept charging at Phee to score but apparently all of his shots had missed and he kept saying Phee had fouled. After the fourth time he said Phee had fouled, Phee said 'Wakao? Foul so many times? Foul your mum dude!'

The gangster heard it and asked if Phee had a problem with it. He stared at phee with glisterning eyes with his n+pples exposed. I was so scared that i decided to hide in my closet first. Then, the gangster grabbed Phee on the shirt and Phee pushed it away with force. He said that Phee was bullying all the other kids during the match by scoring too many times.

The gangster threathened to hit Phee with a chair but he did not have the guts! After that, he challenged Phee to a 1 on 1 basketball match but Phee did not have the guts! So the both of them did not have the guts so the fight ended like that. I hope you can assign more policeman around Tampines neighbourhood in the future to keep this place safe and crimeless.

Homec Practical Test :D

Today was a busy day, all because of Louis refusing to do hmwk together yesterday and left us with no choice but to do our hmwk during class hour =="

Since we were going to have homec practical test today and I do not have my apron with me, I asked Louis the day before to lend me his. Emmanuel helped me to call him and told him to put the apron in his back then but he refused to as he was watching Singapore Idol.

Louis : Aiya Later then put lar, now lazy!
Emman : Put now later you forget again.
Louis : Ok if I forget to bring tommorow, I will pay you all $ 30
Emman : $.$ ok

This morning.....

Me : Oi Loo got bring apron or not?
Louis : Oh shit.....
To Louis : you owe me $ 30

So yeah, I was exhausted the whole day and barely have enough time to rest at all. After school, we had the practical test.

The food that we are going to cook...
Main Dish : Japanese Fried Rice
Appetiser : Salmon Salad ( which we used other fish instead )
Dessert : Pancake
Drink : Orange Juice + Watermelon juice + ginger + ginseng...

All went pretty well, though Emman was having a difficult time cooking pancake ( its not something easy to cook at all ) and Hazmi was too great of a helper xD

Hazmi too had a difficult assisting Emman....

After everything is done, we brought our food for inspection. Everything was fine, teacher didn't give any bad comment about our food at all :]

Hello,
This is an update to update you that I'm still updating the blog just that there are no special things in my life now. I just post this update to keep you up to date with my life right now. It's a boring one but I had chinese oral today and when the teacher asked a question, I gave a no-link reply and soon understand the question after she rephrased it. Same goes for Phee, but he is in a much worst situation than me. Good Luck, Phee.

1. selfish and 2. insensitive people

Hi guys, I'm back, and today I will talk about 2 types of people today.

It's been quite a while since I first arrived in Sydney and I made a few friends here and there since then. However, after getting to know them for such a long time now, today I realised some of the ugly truths some of my foreigner friends have.

Well for the first type, the truth is not that ugly, like ugly in the 'take drugs', 'smoke' and 'gamble' way, its the 'studies' type of ugly:

I got this friend in class. We had this physics quiz sometime ago and then after everyone finished the teacher began giving us the answer. So question one, okay everyone got correct, question two, some got it wrong okat that's fine, and then when it comes to question three, half the class got it wrong. Everyones reaction was like 'What? How come this is the answer blah blah blah?!' I got that question right so I didn't say anything, but then when I look at the answer from my friend on the right, yeah he got it right too but you know what he did?:

He also said 'What? How come this is the answer blah blah blah?!' like everyone else too!

You may not consider this as a big deal, but let's stop and think for a second. Why is he doing that? Why must he 'lie' to everyone that he got the answer wrong yet he got it correct? So for me, there is only one conclusion: that guy is just selfish, and I've known this all along. Since the beginning of the course, I noticed that he is a very humble guy and always like to ask questions, which is good by the way. He did pretty well for the semester one exam too, which was great, but today it is clear to me now: he just don't want others to be as successful as he is doing.

Now for the second type of person, I blame it on his inexperient. He is older than me, but because he was so narrow-minded, sometimes some of the things he said and asked my is so insensitive, it was really hard for me to really answer his questions. Some of the questions he asked me were 'Are transwomen in Thailand born that way? Do they still have a pen+s?' Then I was like, what the hell, why do you want to ask me this kind of questions. Not only does it hurt my feelings, but it is also kind of insulting to Thailand altogether, well that's how I feel about it of course.

Some of the other questions he asked me were also about my religion. I'm a Buddhist by the way, and while there are a few kinds of Buddism (I think), I believe in the kind where one of the rules are 'You are not allowed to eat beef'. In Australia, the majority of the dishes here contain beef, so I can't eat all of them. So one day, my friends, including the guy I am talking about, and I went to this chinese restuarant for lunch. We ordered a few dishes and then I requested that please do not order ones with beef inside. So everyone agreed, and then this guy just began asking me 'Why do you believe in Buddhism? Why don't you eat beef? Cows are reared so that they can become our food'. I was so angry. Why can't just accept the fact that some Buddhists doesn't wat beef? Why do you want to redicule something I believe in? However, I told myself 'Nevermind, it's okay, don't be angry at him, he doesn't know a lot of things, he don't even have a religion so its understandable'.

Met 2 of these kinds of people here, and everytime I think about them I just felt so mad. Or maybe is it just my own thoughts that is driving me crazy? Maybe its because of me staying in Singapore for too long until I considered multi-racialism to be something every country has. Well, this taught me an invaluable lesson: You will never be fully experienced in life, and every day is a new lesson for us. This experience has taught me about this kind of people how I can avoid unneccessary conflict in the future. That's it for today's post, thank you, c u
