ok im finally back in thailand, but before i start off with anything, let me tell you what happened on the day i left singapore.
to the people who sent me off on that day, even though you may not come visit my blog or what, i just wanna say thanks. i feel so important for that one day. im still gonna come back to singapore next yea so for those who thought that im leaving forever, no worries.
ok back to the main thing. for some of you who have followed the news closely, you may have noticed that thailand has been facing with a lot of political problems lately. the situation turned for the worst as there was bloodshed at some places, and the economy worsen as many tourists come here lesser than before everyday. i was considered lucky to have came back to thailand on last monday during the midst of this thing, cos you know why? the problem became so bad until they have to shut down the airport on tuesday! yea man! 70+ flights canceled and the tourists that wanna go to the airport have to battle through the crowd of protesters that station there. yea. so lucky i come back before the day they shut down the airport. if not, then i guess ill be stuck in bangkok or smth.
i hope the problem will be solved soon. yea
After the o lvls ended last week, i found myself free of school and studying. the first few days of releave and relaxation was good, but a few days later, it became dull and sHITTY. so i tried to keep myself busy for the past few days, and luckily, it was/is kinda successful.
wednesday: o lvl ended, slacked at home
thurday : played games at home, went out with consin to play LAN
friday : played some games, went out with cousin to play LAN again
saturday : stayed at home, had pastamania for dinner, went for Bbq-stayover at floorballer Greg's house
sunday : sent cousin of to thailand, then had floorball game for whole afternoon
monday : woke up, found myself to have a serious muscle ache at many places of my body, especially the legs, had class Bbq at night
today tuesday: went to watch 007 with floorballers
yea. i still have a few more days left before i go back to thailand, so i shall keep myself busy till then. ok bb
some cool things. enjoy
A lot of dumb things have been happening to me, or should i say i brought it upon myself..okay anyway here is some of the examples. last monday (yesterday), i had one of my o' lvl papers, it was physics MCQ, but a few days before i actually thought tat i was going to have a chemistry exam so i studied some chemistry notes, just to find out tat i prepared myself for the wrong paper. ok tat was bad, i know, but luckily the paper was easy so its okay. my next paper is on this wednesday so im pretty relieved that the whole thing so going to be over soon. i wont be having any papers on tuesday, so i can relax a bit. come today, the tuesday i was talking about, one of the stupidest thing that can ever happen to an examinee happened to me:
i went to school just to find out that i dont have any paper today.
baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad day. i forgot that i don have any paper today so i went to school. was very embarrassed, but still, i got to think positive. like the old saying goes, if u think u suck, u suck, but if u think u pro, u pro. its all about how you think about, and actually react with this kind of things that may happen to you on any day. okay, my cousin wants to use the com. bb.
yesterday i heard that the USA presidential election thing is gonna go live on Channel News Asia on the 5th of Nov 08, so today, i woke at about 8 am, bathed, ate, and prepared myself to watch history in the making. 9 oclock came, and soon i found myself sitting on the couch, and then switching on the telly (or in other words, TV).
observed how obama and McCain gained states after states and how each party win seats after seats in the house of representatives. after some times, obama was on the lead, and i was feeling the 'im sure obama was gonna win the thing' kind of feeling. yea, i read how obama was a more popular choice then McCain because McCain's Bush's friend and not a lot of people don like Bush. So i guess obama was gonna win the thing, and im gonna through the whole dAMN process, in the making...
But after about an hour of watching, the whole thing was so boring, i went to sleep.
Woke up again at about 12. i switched off the telly before i went to sleep 2 hours before so when i woke up again, i didn bother to watch the thing already. had lunch, went out with JC and sideburn to buy some games, all came to my house to play some tekken, all went home at 7+ pm. had dinner after sending then off and then suddenly finding out that Obama won! yea! but i was kind of expected that so yea....
guess i missed the history in the making.
some smosh. enjoy.
Took the SAT test today, and dAMN was it tricky! okay, wats an SAT test anyway? its an exam thats similar to o lvls, just that this one is for the americans (o lvls for british). this exam consists of only two subjects, english and maths, instead of the many subjects we are suppose to sit for for o lvls, and instead of having to sit for each subject for each different day for the o lvls, the SAT test is a one day kinda thing. It being a one day thing isn something i was really happy about, because of it being a one day thing, the whole test lasted approximately 5 excruciating hours! really tiring indeed. if the whole paper was all full of maths questions, then i would be scoring full marks for the test. However, if the whole paper was full of crazy english questions, then i would utterly fail the whole thing. unfortunately, the majority of the questions in the paper was english.......
the exam centre is located at the starhub centre near orchard, so i decided to go there earlier as its far away from my house and i wasn really sure where it is. i was suppose to be there at about 7.45, but i reached 7.15 just to be safe. went around searching for the place for about 20 mins, and then yea, found the place. its an office building, of course, but the thing that surprised me was that the building is also a campus for a university of some sort too! so i went inside, saw a lot of people, and was surprised to see many asians there talking english in an american accent. was surprised again to see many caucasians there too, talking in their usual accent. was surprised another time when i discovered how many foreigners were there to take the exam haha. yea. so i took the test, ended at 1 pm, walked around orchard to buy some art stuff till 1.30 pm, and took an MRT home. ok bb
